Science National Honors Society

The Science National Honor Society is a society that rewards those students who excel in the sciences. Members must meet the following criteria to petition:
- Maintain a 3.5 science GPA
- Maintain an overall 3.0 GPA
- Have taken at least one honors science course between their freshman and sophomore year and a second honors science course between their junior and senior year or complete an A.P. science course.

Members meet each month to discuss advancement in the sciences. They also established and volunteer at a science tutoring club after school Monday-Thursday and volunteer at the blood drive held at P.H.S. annually. Members are eligible for scholarships through the Science National Honor Society and are awarded graduation honor cords.
