Due April 15, 2012
The award will be given to a PHS student(s) who make the effort physically and emotionally to help others whether it be to improve the lives of those affected by chronic illness, to support those affected by violence or another worthwhile cause. Individuals or a team of students grades 9 -12 who are in good academic standing may apply for this scholarship. Preference will be given to those volunteer activities that were: student initiated; involve kindness and activism; and not done as part of another requirement for a specific award (e.g. Eagle Scout.) Nominations may also be from another student or the organization/persons that benefited by the service. Please check with the Guidance Department for more detailed information.
