Dear PHS Families,

You have become accustomed to receiving my regular e-blasts on Friday, and I hope they have been helpful in keeping you informed about what is happening at PHS.  In an effort to continually improve our communication with parents, students and families, we have created this new quarterly electronic newsletter. This newsletter will provide a more in depth look at our departments, programs, clubs, and more.  I would like to give special thanks to Mrs. Debbie Mosebach for her dedicated and creative work developing this newsletter.  Thanks also to the many who were involved in provided spotlights and information contained within this new resource for communication.

I am very honored and proud to be Plainville High School’s principal and do my very best to ensure that we provide the high quality programs to help students discover and reach their full potential.  We have much to celebrate and to be proud of in Plainville, and specifically at Plainville High School.  We offer the very best opportunities: academically, athletically, and through the multitude of clubs and activities available to our students.  We strive to instill our Core Values of Honesty, Effort, Achievement and Teamwork as we guide students along the critical and ever-evolving path that leads them from being adolescents to mature members of society who are prepared for a bright future.  We pride ourselves on the development and reinforcement of positive character within our community, and hope to create not only good students, but good people.

I hope you find this newsletter informative, and assure you that it will evolve and improve as we move throughout the year.  Please contact me with any questions, suggestions or comments.  Together, we will continue to make PHS one of the very best high schools in Connecticut.
