The Plainville High School Interact Club’s Take A Whack for Interact” fundraiser event was a big success this year. The event was held during the high school’s Powder Puff football game on November 26th. New England Auto Sales donated a safety prepped used car to 'whack', and offered to match monies raised, for a total of $420 with New England Auto Sales contribution. The Interact Club chose the Connecticut Children's Miracle Network as their charity for this year; proceeds from all of the fundraising efforts will go towards that and the senior citizen prom that the group hosts in the spring. The Interact Club Advisor is Kacey Stewart with assistance from Eric Jiantonio.
