Jets High School Marketing and Business Event

Plainville High School students in the Marketing and Entrepreneurship classes recently attended the Jets High School Marketing and Business Day event with faculty members Trevira Boatright and Steven Michaud at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The group received a behind the scenes tour of the facility, learned about the transition of changing the stadium from one team to the other for the Jets and Giants, and attended multiple workshops focused on marketing, accounting, and broadcasting.

The program was coordinated through the district’s School Business Community Partnership Program and featured speakers from Trumpf, Manafort Brothers, Fluid Control Solutions, ACME Monaco, DATTCO, and Tunxis Community College.
